"If you're new here — welcome. This place is mine, which means it's steadier than anywhere else you've followed me. Nothing here disappears because a policy changed."

@marlowereyesEditorial portraiture, the work in progress, and everything that doesn't make it anywhere else. This is my own address — not a profile on someone else's platform.
What's happening here.
Everything new lands here first — sets, notes, half-thoughts at 1am, and whatever I'm shooting this week.
Before sunrise, studio 3
Third frame of the morning. The light only did this for about four minutes.
The full set — 24 frames
Everything from the sunrise shoot, unculled, in order, including the ones I almost deleted.
Thinking out loud about the next series
The contact sheet nobody asks to see
Forty-one frames to get three. This is what the middle actually looks like.
"Someone asked why I bothered building my own place instead of just posting where everyone else does. Because I got tired of building an audience on land I didn't own."
Write to me here.
Not scattered across four apps. This is the one place messages between us live.
Messages between us stay inside my own place — not in a DM folder on a platform that could close tomorrow.
Everything, kept.
Nothing here scrolls away. Four years of work, sorted and stayed with.
Three ways in. One place.
Not a price list — what actually opens.

Whose place this is.
I started shooting on borrowed cameras and a rented backdrop, in an apartment with better light than furniture. Four years later I own both — the equipment, and the place it all lives.
I shoot the way I'd want to be photographed: patient, a little dramatic, never rushed. Most of what I make never gets published anywhere but here.
"I got tired of building an audience on land I didn't own. So I stopped."
